Summer Training opportunities for Science and Engineering graduate/ postgraduate students
Bhabha Atomic Research Centre being a multidisciplinary organization and a national laboratory with the prime motive to support the nuclear programme in the country, extends its expertise to provide great opportunities for research and impart training to students/fellows from academic institutions in order to encourage the growth of scientific/technological research in the country.
Bonafide students in the third or fourth year of under-graduate engineering programme and science students in post graduate programmes may apply for undertaking project work/training, as a part of their academic curriculum, in various engineering disciplines (namely Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer) and basic sciences (namely physics, chemistry, biology) for duration not less than three months. Such opportunities are provided to students on an on-availability basis.
No accommodation is offered in the BARC Training School Hostel or Guest House to any student selected for undertaking summer project.
Applications have to be submitted through their respective academic institution indicating the personal details of the student including his/her academic record, year of study, discipline, duration of project to:
