Institutional Policy for Carrying Out Dissertation / Summer Training by External Students
Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) carries out research in frontier areas of remote
sensing and geoinformatics as an integral part of its prime objective of providing education at
postgraduate level and facilitating capacity building among the user community in all fields of
geospatial technology and applications. As a part of the outreach policy of the institute, it
provides opportunities to bright external students at postgraduate and undergraduate levels from
different universities / institutions across the country for carrying out dissertation / summer
training.
